Hooray for summertime... and the summer reading that we are all sooooo excited about! This blog is where we will be having our discussions for summer reading. It is not only your job to read the book Thank You For Arguing by Jay Heinrichs, but to participate in class discussion in this online format.
You will need to comment on the posts for each chapter of the book, as well as reply to at least two other comments per chapter posted by your fellow classmates. Try your very best not to reply on the same person's post every time you comment.
PLEASE do not wait until the very last minute to write all of your discussion posts and comments. I know that you want to enjoy your summer break but you signed up for an AP class which is making a commitment to complete all the work assigned. Failing to keep up with this work will not only frustrate me but also your fellow classmates who need to make posts on your work.
We are going to have a great class together so let's start it off on the right foot this summer!
:)
I think it's crazy to read how he takes his day today activities and breaks them down into how persuasions and rhetoric had to do with those activities. Also how to deliver amazing speeches through persuasions to an audience. I had no clue what this book would be about but I think this will be beneficial
ReplyDeleteCan you move this to the chapter one post? Just copy and paste it and I will delete it once you have that done.
